Nominated: Cocotinos Manado
Category: Destination | Best Overall Experience
Just 20 minutes from the Manado airport and 20 minutes away from Bunaken National Park, this place is one of my favourite dive destinations. The service is great with a very homely feel- it's like you are in a friend's home. Nothing like doing a couple of dives in Bunaken and coming back to watch the sunset with a Bintang in hand- heaven!
Nominated: Odyssea Divers
Category: Destination | Excellence in Service
Odyssea Divers new diving operation in Lombok based out of the new Cocotinos resort is awesome!
Spent 8 days diving there in Sept 2010 and had a great time exploring many new dive sites and finding more critters than what I've ever encountered in Lembeh! Will's Beach is the best critter dive I've done and I'm looking forward to visiting this location with Odyssea Diver many times in the future.
The thing that makes Odyssea divers stand out from the rest is the attention to detail, the quality of the dive guides and the fact that they are always making the diving fun and interesting.
Nominated: Odyssea Divers, Manado & Lombok
Category: Destination | Excellence in Service
Odyssea Divers really made our holiday. First class service from the start to finish. We have had several holidays with this operation, and with so many amazing dive destinations in the world, this is something we don't normally do. But the first class service and all round excellence of the operation meant we had such a great holdiay we just had to do it again and again!

We even recommened it to our friends so returned not just by ourselves but with 10 friends in tow who were as equally impressed as we were!!

Well done Odyssea and keep it up!

Nominated: Jaki Teo
Category: Inspiration | An individual person
Jaki Teo is doing incredible work for our oceans and environment. With article she writes for Scuba Diver AustralAsia and also with actions online. She raises awareness with education. In my opinion, Jaki deserves definitively an award
Nominated: Tim Rock
Category: Inspiration | An individual person
Tim Rock has created over a dozen Lonely Planet diving & snorkeling guides, 25 books about the sea, videos, slideshows and hundreds, if not thousands, of magazine articles over his career as a journalist based in the western Pacific. He is always willing to give talks, give advice and help promote the welfare of the oceans. His 30-plus year career as an Indo-Pacific photojournalist specializing in marine life and travel is unequaled in this part of the world. I have know his for over 20 years and know he is dedicated to the sea. I think he deserves some recognition.

Thank you,

Larie
